(Insert cheery snowy photo here. Oh wait, this is the winter that doesn't believe in snow. My mistake.)
If only the holidays had actually lasted from the time of the last post until now, oh what a world that would be! So as you might expect, today there is so much to say and so little time to say it.
So Thanksgiving Happened
On this day, I managed to successfully cook and carve a monstrous 23 lbs turkey. To be fair, Emily helped a bit with the seasoning and a few Entry-ites aided the initial pre-carving attack. Additionally I whipped up some homemade turkey gravy so that went well. Most of the dining crew brought a large portion of their own delicious specialty so there was a huge variety of awesome things.
There might have been Pizza at some point
At one point we went to Emma's and got a pizza with potatos, cranberries, bacon, and cilantro. It was fantastic. I think I've convinced myself to go again tonight. Oops.
Oh Christmas tree, oh Christmas tree...
Then suddenly Christmas was upon us and all through the house not a creature was stirring except for the mouse. We finally got our Christmas tree set up along with stockings (not shown) and matching penguin snowmen ornaments (somewhat shown). We also held a Christmas cookie decorating extravaganza!
My contributions were the Festive Turkey and Christmas Dark Elf
It was quite popular, even Picasso came.
Brad ripped the heart out of a Cyborg at one point.
So Holly learned that Boston is a magical place where random people by you a round of drinks and Brad appeared to refill his free glass collection.
There have also been some Christmas presents around - for example:
A much needed pair of waterproof shoe boots.
Lego Robots Attack! (A Christmas Story)
It seems like the raptor is doomed. No presents for him.
Oh my it appears the Raptor managed to emerge victorious and claimed his prize.
But wait! Here comes a new challenger! (To be continued?)
